Welcome To Active Social!

Ensuring that all individuals feel welcomed and included in our activities, regardless of their abilities, background, or circumstances.

AS Stockton Ferry

“When everyone is included, everyone wins.”

Brendan Andrews, founder

Active Social’s NDIS Day Program delivers vibrant, community-driven experiences that empower participants through movement, connection, and adventure.

Each day starts with a Group Personal Training session—building gym skills, strength, confidence, and social bonds in a supportive environment.

From there, the fun continues with 3 hours of exciting activities like 4WD adventures, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, trampoline parks, and more—all at budget-friendly prices.

We also focus on building life skills through hands-on experiences like cooking classes and photography sessions, helping participants grow, connect, and thrive.

It’s all about inclusion, empowerment, and living life to the fullest.

How We Help

We work individually with each participant in
a group setting to help them achieve their goals.

Together, we can
make a   difference

Mission & Vision

The Active Social’s mission is to empower confidence, health, fitness and social skills
into NDIS participants and build their capacity leading them towards their best life!

The Active Social’s vision is to create Australia-wide timetables, where everyone has access to our services
and can join in on the fun. While staying fit and health, and building capacity and confidence.

Testimonials

I’ve been with Active Social for 4 months now. I have really loved learning about the gym, and how to lift weights. I feel so much stronger, and more confident!

All the staff are really nice and welcoming. The activities after the gym is also really good. There are so many things I’ve never done before and they are so fun. But I’d have to say the support dogs are my favourite, Willow, Skye and Kara are the best!

If you are a little bit nervous about joining, you should just do it. You won’t regret it.

Rumer

I found training pretty good because it was a really nice environment and I felt comfortable. My coach Moose was very friendly and had good taste in music.

My favourite moment training this term was when I deadlifted 120kgs. I felt great because I achieved something on my first day that other people train a year for.

I gained a sense of empowerment – I had no idea I was able to lift that heavy

TH

My favourite moment training this term was deadlifting, because I felt strong. I gained confidence by doing things I didn’t think I could do.

I found training fun because I can stay focussed. When I am at school I don’t focus and struggle to stay in class, but when I’m in the gym I stay focused.

My coach is amazing because he has a calming and inviting personality.

HK

I wanted to learn how to train with a barbell and get fitter and stronger. I wanted to find something to replace my bad habits with healthy habits.

I found training like my own high, after lifting I felt adrenaline. My coach was amazing because he gets you to do it properly and not give up.

My favourite moment training this term was pulling an 85kg deadlift after never deadlifting before. I gained resilience. I wanted to give up but Mick wouldn’t let me give up.
